Orenosv is a stable, reliable and high performance HTTP/FTP/FTPS server that can operate in 24H/365D. Orenosv runs on Windows platforms (NT, 2000, XP and 2003) and Linux x86.

  CIFS needs to open (or simply opens up) too many ports, NBT(137,139) and Direct-hosted SMB(455). CIFS over the internet is virtually blocked. Now, in the aftermath of MSBlast worm, CIFS may have to be blocked even in the LAN. (Even though MSBlast used DCE RPC port 135).

HTML File Server (HTML Files Application)
- Enable HTML access to SMB servers (i.e., Windows servers) in the LAN.

- Java applet to upload multiple files using Drag-and-Drop and progress bar.
- Security : SSL-encryption using Orenosp
- Security : Supports various cookie-based authentication in addition to HTTP basic authentication. For example it supports Orenosp's form-based authentication.
Manageability
- Suitable for FTP Server Farm on Windows
  Because of its flexibility in installation and configuration, Orenosv is suitable for deployment in Windows-based FTP server farms.
- Remote Logging
  You can merge logs from multiple Orenosv services into a single log stream. It will come handy when you have a farm of Orenosv machines.
IPv6 Ready
- Both HTTP and FTP services support IPv6 natively.

To SSL-enable the HTTP service, use Orenosp Secure Reverse Proxy.
To generate and/or manage SSL server certificates, we recommend Kousec Server Certificate Software.
To use remote logging, you need RBP.
To bandwidth-control applications in general, use WinTC.
There is a freeware FTPS command line client from here

Orenosv uses OpenSSL Toolkit developed by the OpenSSL Project (http://www.openssl.org/).
Installer version uses Kantan installer for installation

Status

Orenosv HTTP/FTP Server is released as a shareware product from Orenosv.com.

Changes since last beta

Simple Unified Access Control List for HTTP, HTML and FTP accesses
You can have a single set of access control rules for HTTP, HTML and FTP accesses. Note that this functionality is to complement existing http_auth_define and ftp_acl parameter mechanisms, not replace them, which will remain fully supported.
No More Restarting Required When ACL is Changed
With the new unified ACL, you no longer have to restart Orenosv Server when changing access control rules.
